The "Roller Skate" is a type of skate with wheels to be used on solid ground (as opposed to the skate which is to be used on ice). The two main forms of roller skate are the quad skate, which has its four wheels arranged in two rows, and the inline skate, which has its wheels in a line. This design is how the original roller skates were made, and are frequently referred to as  "Quad Skates".
This sport for the 1st time was introduced to this world by one of the local guy of France in the early 80's named "James Leonard Plimpton".
"Roller Skating". Recreational outdoor skating has had major growth in the last several years since the beginning of the "Rollerblades" inline skate.
Recreationally or competitively and everywhere in between, roller skating is a family sport. Children and adults train together, keeping communication open between the generations. The common love of the sport is a bond that has no age barrier.

Competitive roller figure skating is divided into several disciplines:
FIGURES: Tracing 6 meter circles on one skate with intricate turns, judged for survey of the tracing, symmetry of the turns, and correct posture.
FREE DANCE: Male and female skating a choreographed expressive routine which is mostly footwork and expressive movements interpreting a theme, including some small lifts, more "dance" than the athletic "pairs".
